Notes on Laboratory Test Results Presentation

Even before conducting  a series of tests it is necessary to start organising Laboratory Test Results Presentation.

First it must be carefully chosen which parameters will lead to the results on target. It should be completed a list of Parameter Definitions and Terms, starting also at this stage a Glossary of associated symbols. It must be kept in mind that defining too many parameters will probably become more confusing than helpful.

But, most probably, correct parameter choice will only be reached after an extended learning period of testing. Only afterwards it will possible to organise the results so the differences that matter from successive tests become readily visible.

Finally, dividing test presentation by categories will make it easier to consider at each time results that are really comparable.

Some tests might incorporate custom details, but the respective prescriptions will still be made coherent with ISO 12636 procedures.
